Students have a lot of pressure—school, sports, social life, and jobs—and often must resort to trial and error to manage these demands. What if there were a way to provide tools to set them up for success?
We created the Student Self Leadership courses to help shift a young learner’s mindset from life passenger to life leader, at zero cost to learners, parents, schools, or organizations.
We also recognize that the next generation thrives when they have strong adults supporting them. That’s why we created Student Self Leadership for Champions.
Our student course is based on Blanchard’s award-winning Self Leadership program that is taught to leaders globally. It teaches skills that enable teenagers to overcome barriers, persist against life’s challenges, and inspire their peers to do the same.
A separate course for adults teaches the same Self Leadership model, but through a coaching lens. We want to equip parents, guardians, teachers, coaches, or any mentor with expertise to develop student leaders.
Both courses are available to a global audience and include self-directed learning on the intuitive Intrepid® platform and facilitated discussions with Blanchard leadership coaches. Adults do not need to have a student registered in the program to attend, and vice versa.
Student Self Leadership teaches teenagers how to:
• Own their growth
• Set clear goals
• Increase confidence
After completing the course, 95% of students say that they almost always or often have the knowledge and skills to take the lead for their own growth and development (versus 54% at the start of class).
This increased sense of personal responsibility leads to a higher likelihood of success in everything students do, including school, athletics, college, jobs, and life.
Student Self Leadership for Champions teaches adults how to:

Additionally, students who successfully complete the course areeligible to apply for a $2,500 scholarship to college, trade school, oran equivalent.
